Water is an essential and essential resource on the planet for everyone. On earth, we have only three percent of freshwater. With the growing impacts of global warming issues, it will be more challenging to decide on water management in the near future. It plans to satisfy all uses and allocate water on an equitable basis as per demand. As water is becoming scarce, its importance is becoming more vastly. It is the activity of planning, managing, disturbing, and developing maximum utilization of water resources.  To balance the requirements of human being and the environment is essential for maintaining the sustainability of water resources. Due to limited resources, sometimes water supply becomes challenges.  Many difficulties faced in one of DESAFIO project in developing the area for water supply.

We are having a water scarcity problem nowadays. Usage of water should be managed efficiently and safely to avoid its scarcity. There are many ways to save water, and one of t is water harvesting. This process can be done in two significant methods like rainwater harvesting and groundwater harvesting. In rainwater harvesting, rainwater is collected and stored into natural reservoirs or tanks or sub-surface aquifers. On another hand, groundwater harvesting g is to control the flow of groundwater and raise the table of water. Other sources to save water are drip irrigation method and water-wise habits. Drip irrigation method roots from various save water by dripping either to the soil surface or onto the root, and it is a traditional method. Different wise habits are available to purify water or to conserve it.

Water management is necessary for future irrigation expectations also. Water resource management includes disciplines of hydrology. Water is supply to agricultural, municipal, industrial, and ecological needs. Balancing between broad re of stakeholders and include water policy and legal experts. India has only 4% of renewable resources. India has around 20 river basins, and most of them are stressed due to increasing demand from a growing population and economic activity. Groundwater plays an essential role in India’s economy, and so water management of it become mandatory. It bifurcates about 85% for rural demand, 50% for urban requirement and rest for irrigation needs. Unregulated extract from groundwater leads to overuse of water in many areas. So Water pollution Act mandate to maintain water quality and restore it to prevent pollution.

As per research, In India by 2025 along with various other countries will face water scarcity. Many regions are going under “Water Stress,” and it happens when water availability falls below One thousand cubic meters per person per day. Inspite of various rivers, India’s socio-economic development has led to decreases water resources. Water management is doing by saving water from different sources. Dams are hydraulic structures and act as a barrier between the source and destination of flowing water. In modern society, engineering technique and methods are taken into consideration for dam construction.

There are various advantages of water resource management. Dams are useful for many things, like providing cheap electricity and water. Dams prevent during flooding and provide cheap power for many people. They control rubbish and irrigation and also used for an emergency in case of fires. The water tank is suitable for the environment for your near ones and also saves money by using your water and efficiently manage these resource. At bushfires, the fighter helicopters take water tank to save other’s life. Tank water is preferred for gardening as it will help for recycling water sources. Chemicals in water effect taste of it but tank water is generally rainwater, and so it doesn’t have any chemicals in it.

There are some disadvantages also for using water resource management. Dams are quite expensive to build and too very risky. Surroundings may get destroy as dams are constructed of a river and even a few big dams may create an earthquake due to the digging process. The water tank is generally created by rainwater and rain is very unpredictable. Its cleaning process is very hard and sometimes very costly. It has high chances of getting dirty. Thus utilization of water resources requires proper planning, and one must be aware and educate of it. One needs to identify an opportunity to get water safe in various ways or methods to make potential use of it. Successful water planning from resources requires active participation by all communities overall development of the economy.

One should identify and respond to the area related to water problems. Legal frameworks should be considered to function it in effective ways. Water resources should allocate both short term and long term issues. Resources adapted for water or recycle of water waste should be a global perspective and considering multiple objectives. Recommendation for water planning should always be implemented, and foster coordination should be adaptable with flexibility. Water Conservation also plays a vital role as a resource for water planning and its proper management. Various industrial water purifier machine or water resource-related machines such as industrial UV, high technology, innovative ideas, and manpower resource protect us from dangerous diseases by purifying all bacteria, viruses, and chemical waste from water. One can choose a water heater for the household purpose to conserve water in a smarter way to make environment eco-friendly.
